I have a M.Sc. from the University of Illinois, and I am now a doctoral student at Louisiana State University. I spent 5 years living and working in The Bahamas, where I learned to SCUBA dive, drive boats, and live outside of my comfort zone on a daily basis.
I love lifting weights and going for walks outside when its not 100% humidity. If I'm not checking on my plants, I'm probably baking something sweet or eating some form of bread.

I love telling exciting stories that evoke emotion and spark conversation. Writing novels is a "career-change" for me. Big goal? To make this a full-time thing & know others are enjoying these pieces of my imagination.

I have recently published my first novel, The Turnovers, a Middle Grade adventure novel, and the first in a planned series. It's an exciting story with several twists, and I planned and wrote it with the aim of keeping kids entertained, as well as the grownups they may be reading with.

I love to read. I was an avid reader as a child, and then lost the hobby for almost 2 decades. The good news is, I could pick up where I left off (and so can you!)
I read for myself, but I also read with my kids. I aim to write stories that can entertain kids, but that adults will be interested too.
